Wow! Indeed 😳
I've driven over the Swiss alps and thought that's the best I've ever seen.

Where's the best place other dotnetters have seen?

Look out from Elgol on Skye over to the Cullin Mountains. Stunning.

Agreed TOWK, many areas on sky are stunning.
The Black Forest is also astounding imo. Some of the wee villages in and around the Black Forest still have working tanks and anti aircraft guns on their town squares, they all had at least one if not both these items to protect themselves against invading forces during the war. Some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet live in these towns, and will happily talk to folks about their pride in their war memorials.

Most of Scotland is beautiful if you bother to get out and see it. Too many folk live in the urban central Scotland and never bother to go North or South.

There's some beautiful scenery within a 10 minute drive out of Dunfermline.

I think that's what sets Scotland apart. Even if you are in the centre of a large city, you are only ever 30 minutes from incredible beaches, mountains or forests.
