 Sky/Now TV question

Can you get sky box office on Now TV boxes? Tempted to get a box, but not really sure how it works.

It's common knowledge that Lionel Messi kept a photo of Hamish French by his bedside as inspiration every morning!

A quick Google brought up this ....
You can watch selected events, including boxing and WWE, live with Sky Sports Box Office through your NOW TV Box. To watch Sky Sports Box Office events on your TV you just need to order online at skyboxoffice.neulion.com and then download the app on your NOW TV Box.
Hope this helps 😎

FAO PUP, ... (if you don't mind Dalgety Par)
I just got full sky sports for £20 per month. They called me up and offered me the deal yesterday.
Is this a new thing sky are doing ?
They've never called me before ... Certainly never made me any money saving offers before .... just wondering.
Regards
Widders

I just cancelled my sky sports package in the summer, we have phone tv and broadband and our bills were over £130!

any idea on how to get this cheaper? a few folk in legends last weekend were saying they were paying £50-60 for the lot..i want the same deal ha ha ha

is it just a case of calling and threaten to leave to try and call their bluffs?

They will be in touch if you cancel, I did so in January as BT slaughtered them on superfast bb price. Had offers of 60% discount ever since.

Certainly a strange one.

I have had a theory that their algorithms actually gave more chance of a discount to those that were price sensitive than those that weren't.

I've not paid full whack for their services from the start. When price goes up I leave and they offer deal to entice me back. A couple of my mates paid more than me, left and didn't get offers that were nearly as good to go back. Certainly seemed strange.

Perhaps at this time of year they expect the lure of footie to be too much for folk that have had their service a while.

Or perhaps it's because I'm TV only.

I'd be patient and keep the faith if it were me, but others might have better advice.

I think the fact that Virgin are currently installing fibre in Rosyth maybe has something to do with me getting a phone call from them ... or am I just an old cynic ?

Yep, finally got some competition. We got Virgin when we moved. House had all the Sky set up but for the basic stuff it worked out cheaper with Virgin. We'd been with them before and no problems so a bit of "better the devil you know.".

As far as the internet goes Sky can't get close to Virgin.

All necessities provided, all anxieties tranquilized, all boredom amused.

Neither can BT or whoever. The place Sky wins is on the TV.
