Wins the 10k yet again. One of the all time great athletes and arguably Britain's greatest track athlete.

All necessities provided, all anxieties tranquilized, all boredom amused.

Great finish despite some strong opposition. Not sure how it will impact his fitness for the 5000m given there are heats.

I truly hope his association with Salazar is above board as I would hate to see his legacy impaired given his record.

By far the best ever British track athlete. Also a few attempting to tarnish his achievements, ironically on here those few it's probably a bit ironic.

I doubt very much he has never been tested and obviously no drugs found.

It could be just he is the best around and deserves credit for it.

Drug cheat

It's common knowledge that Lionel Messi kept a photo of Hamish French by his bedside as inspiration every morning!

Not a very good drug cheat though considering he has not got even close to either the 5000 or 10000m world records. The only record he holds is the indoor 2mile which is a rarely run event.
He is just slightly better than some others.

"UK athletics and British Cycling....did very well all of a sudden....hmmmm"

UK Athletics aren't really doing much better than before, we've always had one or two world class athletes but not enough to challenge the top of the medal table in track and field. At the moment we have Farah and then there's a few like Muir and Johnston-Thomson who have a chance, and then...

British Cycling has been doing well for about 15 years now. Not exactly very sudden?

The stench around Farah is getting stronger and stronger.

Good article by an Australian journalist detailing how Farah was the only UK athlete unavailable to the press in the build up to the championships, how he cut short his post-race press conference after his win and how only 'carefully chosen' journalists were invited to ask questions at a media event the next day.

He might be innocent but there's only so long you can avoid answering hard questions...

Pretty good drug cheat given he has a career and people fawning over him as a result.
Being a drug cheat isn't about winning all the time.
I find Britain's sabre rattling at other countries hilarious given how doorbells are "missed" in this country pre tournament.

I'm sure if there was way for Farah to pass every single drug test he has ever taken while taking performance enhancing substances then certain other countries would have worked out how its done.

Lance Armstrong was the most heavily tested athlete on the planet, yet managed to avoid detection. The doctors athletes use are years ahead of WADA when it comes to PEDs. Look at Sharapova. She was using something for 10 years and it only became banned in 2016.

Mo Farah is just as corrupt as the rest of them. How people can believe that Bolt is clean too is beyond me. Pretty much his entire team were doping, yet he's the only one who isn't? Not buying it. People think just because an athlete comes out and condemns doping that they're automaticaly clean. Thats horse sh*t.

Bolt is a freak. His results have been as you'd expect - quick to begin with, faster as he improves his technique, slower as he gets injured/races less often/trains less. Compared to those who get faster with age and more explosive.

Farah was named British track and field athlete of the year in 2010 which was before he even began training with Salazar. He also won 5 English school titles before becoming a full-time athlete so it's not as if he appeared from nowhere.I prefer to use the judgement of the experts like Brendan Foster and Paula Radcliffe who would in no way be as vociferous in their support of him if they suspected any wrongdoing.

Sure I heard the other night that he has not won any of his major titles by more than a 0.6 of a second which is nothing given that he is a long distance runner. I feel a bit sorry for him that he doesn't get the credit he deserves and has been judged as guilty by association. I watched the Salazar Panorama documentary and he was in no way implicated in any wrongdoing. It's just that in our eyes he is the highest profile of the stable and therefore comes under scrutiny. I feel that if he wasn't born in Somalia he would already have won Sports Personality of the Year or at least been in the running.
His genetics, high altitude training with great Kenyan athletes and his sprint finish are what separate him from the others and I will continue with that view until proven otherwise.
It's a typical British point of view-all of the athletes who finish outside the medals bottle it or aren't good enough but when we do have a world champion they are a cheat.Laura Muir has improved dramatically this year-is she a drugs cheat as well?

He has been lucky that this has been a relatively poor era for mens distance track running. He is basically still not able to run times that were being posted back in the early 2000's.

Or maybe they were the drug cheats.

When the training is rubbish, you go where you can. Half our athletes and swimmers either train in the USA or compete for US Colleges in the NCAA.

Why call out the early 2000s? The only mainstream records set in that era I can think of are Bekele's records, the women 400m hurdles, and Paula Radcliffe's marathon records. I wouldn't therefore think the the 'early 2000s' is over represented in the dat
